36x24 $1400.00 This painting is also about tasting notes for a Northwest 'Big Red' wine. Oregon has a uniquely sweet smell, so I wanted a river reference to wet earth. Shooting stars, pears (Oregon's state fruit), berries and cherries, orange blossoms, and figs. The flowers in the vase are all Oregon wildflowers. The bend in the Willamette River is on the walking path south of Willamette park where you can see flocks of red wing blackbirds and enjoy their unique call.
