Recent Mixed Media Collage Paintings

This was just kind of a hobby, but the response I received when taking these pieces to my shows was very favorable, so I decided to do a show or two that concentrated on this medium and technique. These are some of the results! They look a lot like my paintings, although when you get close, you can see the texture and sculptural relief, and the texture and seams of the pieces of the clay are very tactile and satisfying, like a mosaic.

Do a loony-goony dance 
'Cross the kitchen floor, 
Put something silly in the world
That ain't been there before.
