Causes Near & Dear

I donate a lot to the two causes closest to my heart. Animals and Kids. I donate regularly to my local animal shelters, Heartland Humane Society, Safe Haven, and a few others, like the Center for Great Apes, an amazing sanctuary for retired or abandoned "pet" primates in Florida. I also donate to our local schools, especially the art programs which have lost funding over the years. Some kids just need art to function and maintain interest in school, that certainly was me all throughout highschool. Art makes life more interesting, and teaches life skills, creative thinking and creative play.  Here are some of the charity projects I have participated in over the years.

A benefit for Wood River Animal Shelter

This was SO much fun. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The fiberglass dog was big, my dogs barked at it and sniffed it's behind when it came home to be painted. The two woman who organized this benefit have done so much in their community, they are awesome! Terry Tischer and Lynne Stallard in Ketchum, Idaho!
